TWA-D Series Outdoor DIP Grille LED Display Overview
A conventional LED display blocks daylight and brings substantial wind load to large building facades. The TWA‑D Series Outdoor DIP Grille LED Display offers an alternative solution. Spaced DIP346 LED strips are arranged on a grille‑style aluminum frame to allow air and ambient light to pass through. This creates a digital display surface that imposes less burden on building structures.
The standard 500×1000×65 mm cabinet simplifies layout planning and module replacement. Integrated power and signal connectors maintain neat cabling. These lightweight cabinets lower handling work and reduce static structural load. This Outdoor DIP Grille LED Display is designed for permanent installations on large commercial facades and long‑view outdoor media structures.
Product Features
DIP346 Through-Hole LEDs
DIP packaging is well suited to long-range outdoor viewing because the individual red, green and blue lamps provide strong point-source intensity. The strip arrangement also supports an open grille architecture.
IP67 Protection for Outdoor Operation
The TWA-D series outdoor DIP grille LED display is specified with IP67 protection across all six configurations. The rating follows the enclosure classifications explained in the IEC ingress protection (IP) ratings guide. Final project suitability must also account for drainage, corrosion, lightning protection, wiring and site conditions.
65 mm Slim Aluminum Cabinet
At just 65 mm thick, the slim aluminum cabinet is lightweight and compact – which pays off in easier installation, transport, and maintenance. The die‑cast aluminum frame is rigid and stable, and it supports service from both front and rear, keeping system management straightforward.
3840Hz Refresh and 14-Bit Grayscale
The TWA-D series displays, with ultra-high brightness and 60% light transmittance, have undergone thousands of tests and improvements, resulting in optimal visual performance across the board. Brightness exceeds 7000 nits, with a full-color display, a refresh rate of up to 3840Hz, and 24-bit grayscale.
160° Viewing Angle
The TWA‑D Series Outdoor DIP Grille LED Display features an ultra‑wide 160‑degree horizontal and vertical viewing angle. It produces clear, bright and color‑accurate images from nearly any viewpoint. The broad viewing angle ensures readable content for pedestrians and vehicles approaching from all directions, which is particularly important for curved streets and large public square projects.
