How to Choose the Right Taxi LED Display
Start with your vehicle and mounting position, then match the screen to your advertising content, viewing conditions and daily operating needs.
Check Vehicle Compatibility
Confirm the vehicle model and available mounting space. For TDT rooftop displays, check the roof and mounting points. For TDW rear-window displays, measure the glass area, window angle and interior clearance. Test the fit on each vehicle type before a fleet rollout.
Choose the Right Pixel Pitch
Match pixel pitch to viewing distance and the detail in your advertising content. Preview text, logos and graphics at the selected screen’s native resolution, and check readability under the intended viewing conditions before choosing a configuration.
Plan Power and Content Management
Check the vehicle’s power supply, daily operating hours and network coverage. Confirm how content is uploaded and scheduled, which control functions are included, and how the display switches on and off with the vehicle ignition.
Review Installation Requirements
Confirm the mounting design, maintenance access and applicable local vehicle-advertising requirements. For rear-window displays, check driver visibility in the actual vehicle. Agree on installation responsibilities and spare-parts arrangements before fitting screens across the fleet.
Taxi Digital Signage Applications
Taxi LED displays support local promotions, event advertising and coordinated fleet campaigns. Match your content to the areas your vehicles serve and update messages as campaigns change.
Local Business Promotions
Promote shops, restaurants and local services with clear branding, short offers and location details. Update campaign content for seasonal deals, store openings or new services.
Events and Product Launches
Promote upcoming events and new products with consistent branding across participating taxis. Highlight dates, locations and key product messages, then update the content as each campaign progresses.
Fleet Advertising Networks
Coordinate advertising campaigns across multiple taxis. With a compatible control platform, TDW supports scheduling by location and vehicle group, helping operators assign content to different areas and fleets.

What Affects Taxi LED Display Cost?
Taxi LED display cost depends on the screen configuration, order quantity and installation requirements. A complete budget should also account for any ongoing connectivity, platform and maintenance fees.
Hardware and Installation Costs
The display series, pixel pitch, screen size, enclosure finish and order quantity affect the hardware price. Check whether mounting hardware, vehicle fitting, power equipment and shipping are included, and compare quotations for the same configuration and installation scope.
Connectivity and Ongoing Support
Confirm whether mobile data, platform access and software features involve separate or recurring charges. Review maintenance arrangements, spare-parts pricing and warranty coverage to understand the costs of keeping your fleet’s displays in operation.
